Fall Covers for Spring Savings
The Illinois Department of Agriculture is offering a discount program on cover crops. Eligible applicants will receive a $5/acre insurance premium discount on the following year’s crop insurance invoice for every acre of cover crop enrolled and verified in the program. Interested participants may sign up for acres planted to cover crops in the fall of 2023 and will be planted into an insurable crop in 2023. More information to follow.
